You gave me hyacinths first a year ago;
They called me the hyacinth girl.
Yet when we came back, late, from the Hyacinth garden,
Your arms full, and your hair wet, I could not
Speak, and my eyes failed, I was neither
Living nor dead, and I knew nothing,
Looking into the heart of light, the silence.
- T. S. Eliot, The Wasteland
This is my personal web site, a place that links to all the Internet
resources about me. From here you can find out about my comic strip "All Is Well",
see my profile of personal information, or visit my Facebook social
networking site, read my much neglected blog or find out about my email
list Closed Circle. There's a list of links to less recent projects such as Elfwood and the Melbourne Forum - managed by Bluedot.
Who is Mistress Bamika?
Bamika is a character I played on Tales of Ta'veran, a roleplaying game set in Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time universe. In her homeland, Andor, Mistress is a polite title for a married woman. Bamika is not a BDSM Domme. Neither am I. Bamika was just a fun, amusing character - she was a serving girl who spoke with a thick accent and had a talent for knocking things over. When I needed a new email address "bamika" was taken, but "mistress_bamika" was available. The rest, as they say, is history.
